Below is the fixture for the U-14 segment for the 2010-11 Secondary Schools Netball Championships.
Friday 3rd December 2010The listed players have been selected to begin training for possible selection to represent Dominica at the 2011 CNA Under 16 Netball Championships carded for St. Kitts in April. Training sessions will begin on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 9:00 am at the Dominica Grammar School. There will also be training during the Christmas Break on December 20, 21 and 22, 2010. We look forward to your kind cooperation and usual assistance.
U-16 NETBALL TRAINEES
Updated & revised fixture for the 2010 Secondary Schools Football Championships for your information and necessary guidance. We are pleased to inform that ITSS has been crowned the new U-15 Champion - Congrats.
The U-17 and U-20 categories continue as per the fixture.
We thank all the schools for participating and all the officials for their contributions to the championships. We look forward to a successful end of the championships.
Friday 26th November 2010In order to prepare for the 2011 Windward Islands Schools Games, the Sports Division has taken the initiative to register a National Schools Football Team in the ALL ISLAND LEAGUE organized by the Dominica Football Association. The 2011 Windward Islands Schools Games will be held in Dominica.
In this regard, these footballers (as per attached list) have been selected to participate in the league. Training sessions will take place on Saturdays from 9:00 am on the Pottersville Savannah.

As you may be aware, the Under 15 Cricketers have been in training since September, preparing for the Windward Islands Under 15 Tournament which was scheduled for December 10 – 19, 2010.
The Windward Islands Cricket Board has recently decided that because of financial constraints that it has become necessary to postpone the tournament until April 2011.
It has therefore been decided that training will be suspended until February 2011. The exact dates of training will be communicated to your school.
Thursday 25th November 2010The Sports Division will host a basketball training workshop for table officials within the schools and the Dominica Amateur Basketball Association.
This workshop will be done in preparation for the upcoming Sports Division's Basketball Championships and the Windward Islands Schools Games which will be hosted by Dominica in 2011.
The workshop is scheduled for Monday, December 13th at 3:00 pm at the Dominica Grammar School and it is in this regard that we request your assistance in indentifying at least three (3) students from each school to attend this workshop.

The Sports Division commenced the 2010 Secondary Schools Netball Championships on Wednesday, 10th November 2010 at 3:00 pm at the Dominica Grammar School.
Twenty-seven (27) teams have registered for this year's championship - an increase over last year's twenty-three (23) teams.
Tuesday 9th November 2010Below is the fixture for the 2010 Secondary Schools Football Championships for your information and necessary action. There are some matches that have already been played and the scores for these games are included on this fixture. As indicated, the matches that have not been played as planned will be rescheduled and a revised fixture will be put up subsequently.

Sunday 15th August 2010The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through the Sports Division will host the 2nd Annual Regional 13 & Under Netball Festival from August 15 - 19, 2010 in the town of Portsmouth.
Four teams will participate in this year's festival - Antigua, Anguilla, Dominica A and Dominica B.The opening ceremony of this festival will take place at the Benjamin's Park in Portsmouth from 4:00 pm and the teams will hear brief remarks from the Ministry of Sports and other officials.
Following this ceremony, the first match will take place between Dominica B and Antigua at 5:00 pm and this will be followed by the second match between Dominica A and Anguilla at 6:00 pm.
