The players were selected to represent their districts following good performances at the cricket festivals which were held in the eight districts and also from the cricket coaching caravan programme organized by the Sports Division which targeted primary schools.
The coaching caravan, which ran from October 2013 to May 2014, was conducted by coaches of the Sports Division who were responsible for introducing the boys to the fundamentals of the game.
Matches are expected to take place at various venues around the island to include Grand Bay, Delices, Jolly John Park, Benjamin’s Park, Pointe Michel and Dublanc.
Last year, South West won the championship with West being the Runner Up.
