Results: 13 & Under Football, Secondary Schools Volleyball and United Insurance U-20 Cricket

The Portsmouth Secondary School is the new champion of the Secondary Schools 13 & Under Football. This was achieved when the PSS won over the St. Mary’s Academy in a Final which was played at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium on Tuesday, January 21, 2015.

The match was a hard-fought one that saw both teams tied at nil- nil at the end of the regulation time; however, it was PSS that emerged champions when they won the match 5:4 on penalty kicks.

This championship title means that the curtain has been drawn on the 2014/15 Secondary Schools Football Championships organized by the Sports Division. The Secondary Schools Football Championships started on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 and culminated on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Winners of the various championship titles:

  • 13 & Under – PSS
  • U-15 – DGS
  • U-17 –DGS
  • U-20 – GSS

The first two matches in the 2015 United Insurance Secondary Schools U-20 Cricket Championships were played on Tuesday, 20th January at two venues.

At Botanic Gardens, the Dominica Grammar School won the toss and sent Pierre Charles Secondary School in to bat.
