Day 4 of the CBN/Winlott Windward Islands Schools Games was filled with excitement since the games were brought back to town on Wednesday 29th July, 2015. The said morning St Vincent played Grenada in netball but ended in a draw 30-30. Later during the day girls basketball matches which were carded for 4:00 pm were to be played at the Massacre hard court and Lindo Park simultaneously. At the Lindo Park Dominica walked away with a win since St Vincent forfeited. At the Massacre hard court however the match was postponed to Thursday at the Benjamin’s Park.
At the Windsor Park Sports Stadium we witnessed lots of excitement from the athletes and supporters from the various Windward Islands. In game 1 St Vincent went head to head against Grenada and ended in a 1-1 draw. In game 2, host country Dominica went down to St Lucia 0-2
On Day 5 teams were given a free morning to get to know more about the nature isle, mingle and prepare for other activities. Matches commenced at 5pm to host the rescheduled female basketball game St Lucia vs Grenada but it was Grenada who walked away with winning points since St Lucia forfeited in the 3rd quarter. In male basketball, St Vincent faced the spice boys and lost 41-69. In the second game of the evening St Lucia forfeited yet another match handing over the winning points to Dominica.
