The Under 15 Football Championship Final will feature the Castle Bruce Secondary School and the Dominica Grammar School from 2:30 pm in what is expected to be a keenly contested match.
Both teams qualified on Tuesday, November 24th.
Dominica Grammar School had a 3-1 win against the Portsmouth Secondary School whilst the Castle Bruce Secondary School had a 2-1 victory over the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School.
Friday’s final will feature a number of players who have graduated from the 13 and Under Football Championships. The Dominica Grammar School is the defending champion.
The U-15 Final will be followed by the U-17 Final on December 2nd, U-20 Final on December 11th and the 13 & Under Final on December 14th.
The U-17 and U-20 Finals will be part of a new initiative between the Sports Division and the Dominica Football Association (DFA). Both U-17 and U-20 Finals will be part of double-headers which will also feature DFA Premier League matches.
This initiative will see the return of weekday Premier League Football matches at the Windsor Park as was the case in the past.
The U-17 Secondary Schools Football Final will be played at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium at 3:00 pm on December 2nd and will be followed by a DFA Premier League match at 5:00pm.
Additionally, the U-20 Final on December 11th will also be followed a DFA Premier League match from 5:00 pm.
It is hoped that this new initiative will encourage increased spectatorship to football matches, particularly amongst the working population.
