The four (4) teams, which have qualified to the Final Round of the Sports Division’s 2016 NBD Primary Schools Boys Football Championship, will be on show at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium on Tuesday, March 22nd from 1:00 pm.
Prior to the matches, officials of the Ministry of Sports and the National Bank of Dominica will meet the teams.
The first semi-final match will be between the St. John’s Primary School and the Grand Fond Primary School; the second will feature the Woodford Hill Primary School and the St. Mary’s Primary School.
These semi-finals matches will then be followed by a match to determine the 3rd and 4th placed teams. The Final will be the last match of the day and will feature the two (2) winners of the semi-finals matches.
A new champion will be crowned this year since defending champions, the St. Luke’s Primary School, was knocked out of the competition at the Quarter Final stage.
The Sports Division expresses its thanks to all, especially the National Bank of Dominica, who have made this championship possible. A championship which touched the lives of approximately 600 boys, saw the participation of 52 primary schools and saw the completion of 163 games.
